We are Marshall....

for someone whose a sports movie fan like me, movies like Remember the Titans, We are marshall, Coach Carter etc seem to be the preferred choice....

Simply loved Remember the Titans for the way the movie was made n everything else about it..never once felt like getting up n leaving the movie...

Was watching We are Marshall the other night...its an amazing flick..really enjoyed it...not gonna spell out the story here but wud really recommend ppl to see it once atleast if not for anything then jus the acting of Matthew McConaughey...hes simply wonderfull as the coach...

well i m writing this post to just spell out one of the dialogues of the movie...which actually wud make sense to anyone who knws wat it is to loose a team n build a new one...so here goes

it doesnt matter if we win or if we loose..it is not even about how we play the game..what matters is that we play the game...we take the field...we suit up on saturdays...that we keep this program alive..we play the game...not today..not tomorrow..not this season..not the next one...one day...u n i are gonna wake up and suddenly we will be like everyother team in everyother sport..where winning is everything..and nothing else matters..and when that day comes ...thats wen we will honour them.

Indigo 6E 381..the flight back.....

this post is dedicated to 6E 381 of Indigo that flew from Delhi to Chennai on 12th October 2007. Well i cant be too blunt but then the post is about the airhostesses onboard that day...

To get started, they were a crew of 4..Ms N, Ms G Iyer, Ms D Damodran and Ms A Kapoor. The main flight attendant was Ms N. Ms N and Ms Iyer were looking afte the first of the plane and Ms Damodran + Ms Kapoor were looking after the latter half of the plane ( where i was seated )....well all of them were pretty cute and gorgeous in their own way...but then i got to observe Ms Damodran and Ms Kapoor more than the remaining two..so i ll be writing more about them...

Well whatever i write here is based on observation n certain assumptions are there..so kindly do bear with that...

I ll start with Ms N...well she was this supremely confident woman, who it seems like was someone from a small town but had it made it to the big stage despite the huge odds...and it was evident in the way she gave out the instructions on the flight...no accent..no fake speaking styles...totally genuinity...i was impressed...and the way she interacted and walked around spoke of her confidence...

Well didnt get to hear or see much of Ms Iyer....but just a lil bit when she walked around the aisle...she was cute...spoke clearly...again..seemed to be confident and easily following Ms N's lead....

Coming to Ms Damodran now....well she was cute..gorgeous.bordering very near to being called hot...probably it was the eyes that were the best part...they were so deep and so black..i mean i havent seen such pretty eyes on airhostesses often..the way she carried herself..talked...interacted with passengers spoke of total professionalism...i mean the smiles were there..but they werent natural( i cud b wrong here)..at times she seemed to be a lil tired..probably it was a long flight and passenger can be a lil demanding these days..but she was good..very professional and very sexy...

Hmm..well now the last one...and as it is said keep the best for the last...so now we come to Ms A Kapoor...i believe she had the cutest face features around...especially the eyes coupled with the nose...very cute..n sexy...and hot...well she was very professional in her approach toward the passengers and her work..but the best part was...the smile that were there whenever she was there on the aisle...and that smile was natural..very natural..showing that she was enjoying her day on the flight that day...u cud see her chit chatting with lil kids when she was serving food or giving water.....that was good to see...something that brings a smile on ur own face..i had a 4 hr 35 min long flight but then whenever i was her...she was smiling.....

well i dont knw soon the flight ended..i landed in chennai..headed for trichy..with an aim of writing abt the flight..n here i am..doing it...dunno if i ld see these airhostesses again....but then..the world is shrinking...lol..

2 weeks in delhi....awesome time...amazing..

hmm....wow it seems like such a long time since i posted on the blog......lol....well these 10-12 days at home...made me forget abt most things and just enjoy mahself at home...

somehow i ve had a great time at home this time arnd...better than before...the first week or so went into numerous corporate presentations that out team had to make for placements...it was good fun n an amazing experience to talk with corporate entities and invite them for campus..some of the HR people were gorgeous females (an added perk)..so it was fun..roaming arnd..gurgaon...new delhi..noida...greater noida...covering more than a 100kms on certain days...lol...fun...

watched 3 movies this time around..Lions of Punjab( amazing comedy...a must dekho)...Johnny Gaddaar( another good movie)..and Dil Dosti etc( amazing flick if u r going with ur own age grp..mostly college ppl)...3 movies in 10 days...well..i must ve neared my previous best records of watching movies in Pune...lol..

well the best part has been the awesome time i ve had with my family this time around...hardly any arguements....except for one major one...the entire trips been peaceful..lol...went out for having food a couple of times...seriously...enjoyed both the times better than before...somehow felt an internal happiness...something which cant be put in words..but yes..it was good...probably..my improved health has something to do with everything...a long way to go in improving the health more...

pretty soon 10th october arrived...and i was to head back to trichy...but...something surprising happenend on 9th...got the feeling that dad wanted me to stay back for a few more days..hmm...the miracle happened...classes got cancelled for 11th n 12th...n i m still in del...lol...enjoying 2 more days at home with my family....will be leaving for trichy tomorrow..heading back to college..back to the jungle...but then that shud b also fun....

so the next update will be from trichy...till then...............

KK Concert and Rock Show @ NIT Trichy

Exms are going on in full swing now...6 gone...1 more to go...and to refresh myself..i ve been attending music concerts back to back at NIT Trichy(NITT) during their annual cultural fest Festember..

Well yesterday there was KK's concert at NITT in the evening...and wat a scene it was...there was a huge amount of greenery in the aridness of Trichy...lol...lots of greenery here and there..never before seen such greenery in Trichy before...wooof........now coming back to the pt..well there was long queue and that too a separate one for girls n guyz(this happens in TN, actually disgusting..but then cant help it)...finally after an hr long wait in the queue...and alot of pushing we finally got into the BARN(the auditorium)...5minutes went by and then the lights went off ...the stage illuminated and KK appearedd...the crowd cheered...whistled...it was as if Angelina Jolie had just gotten up drapped in just a towel on 70mm(the cheering dont get ideas..lol..)...

KK sang some famous Hindi numbers..like Yaaron,Pal,Hum dum suniyo re and some tamil numbers also....had to get back to my colg by 9.30 so left the show then n there...had to watch the awesome India -Aussie match..n wat a match it was...YIIPPPPPPEEEEEEEe...

Today went for the rock show at NITT, the closing event for Festember...a band named Planetella had come down from Chennai for performing...and trust me it was a good show...they played good rock music...a few covers...and a few of their owns(good songs..something expected from winners of Sarang- IIT Madras fest)...Sweet home alabama by lynyrd skynyrd , Purple haze and foxy lady by Jimmy Hendrix(awesome performance on these 2 songs) were a few of the covers they played...all in all an hour full of absolute rocktainment...

Had missed all this since attending some rock concerts in Pune n damn it felt amazing to go back to being in the crowds and cheering up the rock bands....simply amazing.....Rocktaiment.....

Freekick win & Mookaamboor trip

hmmm..its been sometime since i ve updated the blog...and this line seems to be becoming pretty common now...lol...newaz...lifes been a lil hectic out here....so dats why the blogs not been updated...

for starters we won the football tournament this time around. Finally sweet victory....loved the moment when the final whistle of the finals blew and also of ran towards each other to celebrate...its going to be one of those unforgetable moments in life..D feeling that we are the winners sank in only 3-4 hours after the match got over...n trust me it was an unbelievable feeling....

moving on...me n my frnds went to mookaamboor dam a few days back...it was an amazing site...water all over...lush greenery...coconut tree groves.....the setting sun...n a bunch of mischief makers(us..lol).....posing here n there....jumping on to swings like kids....splashing water on each other....posing for the kodak moments....loved every moment of it.....and before i forget...the drive to mookaamboor is all along the banks of cauvery which makes it all the more beautiful and fun....chk the pics in my orkut album....

anyways exams are starting from the 13th...n my schedule for that is pretty screwed up..but thats ok....thats something as managers we are good at managing....lol...

Current affairs@life

its been a while since i wrote something here...Ms S doesnt seem to be in sight anywhere so lets just move on to other important things going in life...

Football is again alive at my college with Freekick'07 starting a few days back. I am still a part of the last years team Blitzkrieg. This time around i am not keeping but playing as a defender for the team. We got a new player in Paul and a new manager in Sowmya for the team.

The first match we played was against a PGP 1 team named Sangam. We won 13-0, i missed 2 simple penalties(damn)....i also picked up a 1 match suspension for using undesirable words against the linesman(the guy with the flag on the sideline)...well i gues it shudnt ve happened but it happened..

So today i was watching the match against BIM Bagan (PGP 2) from the sidelines. We won by 7-0 this time around. It was a good match. Tomorrow we play Predators, the best team from PGP-1. That match should be fun n good. I am gonna play. yipppeeeeeeeeeee

Other than football life's been going on pretty ok. Somehow i have become a bit aggressive(not in the good sense) over the last few weeks, i do get a bit irritated over certain small things which i didnt used to earlier but i gues its ok. now that i know abt it..i can work on rectifying it.

Another important event here was the Independence day celebrations here. Had good fun that day. Made a video also for the occasion. Its loaded on youtube if anyone wants to check it out.

Chilli flight is no where near to landing!!

wow..its been sometime since i ve updated the blog..partially bcos i was busy with conducting Enigma, my institute's online quiz event.

Coming back to this post....its about Ms S...well last i heard from her air hostess friend was that Ms S had declined to read the blog....on hearing this all i could do was laugh...i mean it was kinda expected..but newaz...as denise the menace wud say "never say die" and as it is said in rocky "fighters always fight".....the hope that one day Ms S wud read this wud stay alive....or even if i travel aboard spicejet...i mite find Ms S there..with her hair falling in front of her eyes...damn tht was such a cute moment..

well midterms r on my head n havent started studying...so i better get to the job...in any case the blog will be updated...exms or no exms...lol...
