its gonna to be january 1 of 2008 in another 23 hrs..and tho i should be studying for my exam thats gonna b there in 13 hrs..i ll take some time to put this post here...
well this post is gonna be a brief run down of the new year celebrations over the last few yrs and wats gonna be coming for 2008...
2004: i ll start with 2004...3rd of Engineering
Came back home for the winter vacations from my college...all my frnds in delhi were mostly out with their own respective college grps...so i had a good time spending the new year with my family...tho a party wud ve been fun...this was better (looking at it in hindsight)*
2005: last year of engineering...
another vacation at home in the winters...last one of engineering...my cuz frm UK had come down n was back in india..so we had a small family get together...went out for a drive with cousins..roamed the streets of delhi..got the cold chilly wind to hit the face...n came back home to celebrate with the family...again n amazing time...
2006: Working with HSBC...
i had started working now..finally i managed to free my evening of 31st to celebrate from my work...damn the work was so exhausting..went to a party to a resort on the outskirts of pune with frnds from work...had an awesome time dancing...gossiping..boozing..all in all great fun..enjoyed to the core..at 4am..a frnd came over from mumbai...hes one of my best frnds..a good start to 2007..
2007: MBA first year down south in Tamil Nadu..
well here new yr and christmas here come at the time of final exams of the trimester(divide an yr into 3 n u get a trimester)....but could that stop us from having fun...220 of us..living in our very own world...gave the exm in the day...gotta cultural event and a party going in the night..danced..boozed..danced...partied hard into the night...a new yr..a new beginning...life was looking good...
2008: MBA second yr
I have an exam tomorrow...lol..should be studying Software project management...too boring..will get back to it in a while...looking forward to the party at night and the new yr to begin...
* that hindsight thing came into the picture bcos for the last 3 years i have missed almost all important functions, occasions and festivals at home...n now i realize the importance they hold.but im sure i ll get alot more opportunities in the future :)
The time of 2007 has come to an end...
hopefully 2008 should be full of might...
a new dawn will rise, the night would end....
and the fighter shall continue to fight!!
